Here are some cross country stories

I heard people clapping and cheering for everyone. I could see people running past everyone like Mr Ivory and Whaea Sandra. If I was running I would of been exhausted and my heart would of been pumping.

My Mum forgot about cross country because she thought it was cancelled. I came 1st, Quinn said "go, go, go Jahrome", and Cody had a race.

Cross Country was amazing but it made me very tired. I had a sore leg after the race and I came sixth in the race. I saw Mum at the start of the race and I was very excited. I was exhausted.

My heart was pumping very very very fast. I saw cars driving around the school. I heard lots of breathing and I told them to walk and I ran.

On Monday it was cross country. First we had to do exercises. When Miss Morris said go I ran fast as I can but when I touched the green grass I had mud in my toes. Then I slipped in the slippery mud and my clothes got dirty.

I was  running in the race with Lily at cross country.

I saw, Go Weka, and I heard people cheering for me and my heart was puffed. I was glad that it was finished.

Wow!  Ben won the cross country race but I wasn't there that was pretty much dumb for me. I wish I wasn't sick at all. I hope next year I could go.

On Monday it was cross county. All the children were running on the grass and people were cheering. I had the sign, Go Weka.

On Monday it was cross country day. There was muddy puddles, they were everywhere. I was exhausted because the kids have to run 3 times around the school . Kayla was running beside me and we were tired. When I was running I saw Lily and I lapped her.   It was funny because when I ran past Quinn, he took pictures of me. When I finished I had to go back to the hall. In the hall there was jump jam action.

"Yay it's cross country today Izzy"  I said "My Mum is here". I can't believe we have to go around 3 times. I can see mud between my toes and I am sweating. "Hi  Lily, you're  so fast. Look Izzy, Quinn is taking pictures of us". I can see my Mum by the earth seats and Nicole's Mum. Is it finished yet? because I am exhausted.
By Kayla
We were doing cross country and I was going so fast that I was going to lose my breath. When I was running I saw all the teachers cheering for children.

I was so tired after cross country, I'll tell your about it. First I'll need to calm down. Now I can tell you about it, I hate cross country!
By Lily
As I run along my feet pushed down on the grass my feet gets muddy. The field gets dry and my feet go squishy as I run fast! At the start line I was running fast like a cheeter. One Junior just beat me, I thought Hyrum was coming first.
